Is anybody here collecting the x-files dvds? I haven't been, but I was buying dvds the other day and I got the season 8 one that came out last week. So now I guess I have to buy the rest of them, I'll probably get one every once and a while until i have them all. I miss the x-files, it's never on tv here anymore, I can't wait to be able to watch any of the episodes whenever I want. What one do you guys think I should get next, do they all have as much special features as this one? I love the game on it. What did you guys think of it? I thought season 8 was a pretty sweet season.

I was never able to follow X-files on TV, though I'm sure I would have liked it. I've liked the episodes I've seen in reruns. The first two times I deliberately sat down to watch X-files and got immersed in an episode it turned out to "Be continued," and I missed both follow-up episodes. That kind of irritated me and I just never went back during the show's regular run. It's showing now on reruns here in the New Orleans area and I've caught an episode or two and have enjoyed them.

I miss the comedy episodes, they never repeat those, although they are perfect for halloween. Like the one with Mulder drinking snowballs and Scully smoking, where they keep insulting each other sarcastically. Or the one with the vampire where Mulder waylays it by scattering sunflower seeds on the carpet (knowing Vampires are anal and have to pick them all up). Of course my favourite one where we see the story from diff view points, and Mulder eats a lot of pie, and fake aliens are abducted by real aliens. Wish I paid more attention to episode titles.....
