At 10:32AM on st. patrick's day my wife gave birth to our fourth child, a 7lb. 14 oz. boy we named Liam Ein ... not Ein after the Cowboy Bebop dog :p ... and everybody is fine. I should be picking them up from the hospital tomorrow afternoon.

Congratulations, especially to the wife, who, after all, did the hard part. I wish you and yours a prosperous and bright future.

Isn't the feeling of becoming a new father a great source of pride and joy. I know such a feeling. I have two sons. and I'm a single father. we have the ultamate bachlor pad. just us guys here, but the joys continue constantly.

Wow! A new baby. Congratulations!  Its such an amazing thing, I can't imagine how it must feel.  Cudos to all the parents on the board!!

*smiles* So, how we know you have a beautiful, baby boy. What are your other children?

*chuckles* I ask because one of my co-workers gave birth again not long ago and we were teasing the father. He's the only male in a household of three females. He's outnumbered!  :D
new addition - by NoonChild on 10:27 18 Mar 2003
My boyfriend complains he is outnumbered, but i dont think it counts when the other two femaloes are Cats! :D

there are 3 boys, ages 10, 4, and 0, and 2 girls, ages 12 and 3, in the house .. the oldest girl is from a previous marraige .

My wife is one of 5 girls, no boys, and she tells me about some of the people her father worked with teasing him about not having any boys. to which he replied, 'any one of my girls can kick the shi* out of any one of your boys' which will tell you a little about my father-in-law .. and his girls :D

Wow! What a troupe!

I bet going out to dinner, or even a movie, makes you take out a mortgage on your house! :D

I surprised you have much time to dally about with us here at the boards. It makes me appreciate what you do here all the more.

Go din!

I have this great image of din sitting at a computer while kids run and scream in circles round him, chaos ensues the new baby sicks up milk all over his wife, but din is calmly unaware as he reads witty posts on this board!

Not really, you sound like a great Dad, sharing your well justified pride with us. :)

Hehe, when I first met din online, he normally had a baby on his lap while he typed in a chat room.

She liked the pretty scrolling colors.  :)

Wow! That is amazing, din. Both you and your wife have all my respect and admiration. :) I know that there is no way I could juggle all of that....
new addition - by din on 15:51 19 Mar 2003
it is really just a matter of keeping everybody involved. the new baby is beside me sleeping on the bed, the 4 year old is playing  Quake beside me on the other computer. the other two are somewhere in the house, bothering there mother, i suppose... lots of practice :D
new addition - by NoonChild on 08:04 20 Mar 2003
4 yr old playing Quake?
The next generation is going to consume us all with their Neo like link to computers.
*sings* I'm a little Ludite, short and stout....

i made these
quick pages with a few pics of the wife and kids. They are presented in relation to going to the hospital to have the new baby. it took all of 10 minutes to make them so they are simple.

NC, Caspian likes the Quake .. and since he can type in all the cheat codes by himself it is not an entirely bad thing .. maybe .. heh, all part of a well rounded education. He can also recognize all the major movie companies from the various videos and DVDs we watch. he likes what his parents like, and his older siblings, we all read, write, draw, watch movies, and play games.

Awwww! Your kids are adorable, din! Thanks for posting those.  :D
new addition - by Haruchai on 12:41 20 Mar 2003
Your kids are full of "teh awwwww!" :D

Very cute, and everyone looks happy! (except the baby in that one pic, heehee!)

Great family, buddy! So, when do we to see a pic of "Da Man!"?
new addition - by din on 12:48 20 Mar 2003
i really don't have many pictures of myself .. by nature we are not big picture takers here .. and the pictures i do have of me i do not feel represent the true granduer that is me :D

i was meaning to have a picture of myself taken .. but by the end of the memory card i had been to busy taking than being took.
new addition - by Brad on 19:15 20 Mar 2003
Good pictures din!  :)
new addition - by NoonChild on 20:20 20 Mar 2003
din, your baby is even cute when crying.
-  but of course there is no sound to go along with the pics, so its prob a bit less cute in reality.  Babies' cries are as peircing as a road drill apparently.  That's what I have to tell myself when I get clucky looking at baby pictures.  Sooo cute though...
