eNovel has shut down due to a massive fraud against them that shut them down. I had 89 books there that are no longer available. I'm thinking about starting a writer's co-op site if I can set it up to make the work available again.

Ouch. That has to hurt. Sorry to hear you are having problems like that. Let us know how things go on that front.
Cafe Press lets you set up your own print on demand publishing. They also take care of order fulfillment. I think actual layout of the books is DIY.
I do not think there is any cash outlay. They tell you how much they will take in costs for each book, anything over that sum is yours. Selling the books is up to you. Worth a look.

Thnxs for the Cafe suggestion. I'll check it out. There may be another way around it that a couple of us are investigating.
A - I don't understand exactly what happened, but it has something to do with a lot of fraudulent orders. I think there was a lot of expense preparing the stuff, then no buy. I can only think of one reason anyone would want to bankrupt an e-publisher, other than some nutcase playing games without caring who gets hurt, such as these (extremely vile epithet deleted) who unleash the viruses.
Hope to have a happier update before long. The people at eNovel are working their derrieres off to try to salvage something for their authors.

Sorry to hear about Enovels, emperor. But I gotta ask. 89 BOOKS!!!!!. Where in the world did you find time to write 89 books? What kinds of lengths are we talking about here? And how long did it take you write said books? That's more than my production of short stories in the past 12 years.
