I tried to post an avatar by placing the URL to it on Webshots, which is where I've worked from with other forums, but get a "not valid extension" message.
It's not terribly important, but what am I doing wrong?
I cut and pasted the URL from the Webshots header, as usual. I notice it doesn't have the _ph.jpg ending. Is that the problem?

That is it. The image url will end in .jpg or .gif

Added it (_ph.jpg). No better. Oh, well.

just testing...
try the address
'http://community.webshots.com/sym/image5/8/64/30/66786430naOQAb_ph.jpg'
instead of
'http://community.webshots.com/photo/66785792/66786430naOQAb_ph.jpg''
if that is your avatar up there

Thanks, Din --
On one place, I have to use one URL, on another, a second, and some of them, nothing works.
