what is an Alicorn?
I voted Dragon cos I've always had childhood books about them (Gran's dragon, Nelly and the Dragon, Murdo etc)and I write them in to stories quite often.
Do love all the Greek stuff too, it's all those Ray Harihausen movies.

I voted dragons also. There's a mysterious archetype about dragons that is in many cultures on this planet. From the wyrms to Chinese dragons, dragons seem to be a strange universal icon for humanity.

Good point. Come to think about it, dragons are also a powerful part of Arthurian myth and legend.

you have a real point there, it seems everybody has heard of dragons.
but my favorite is the gryphon, the right kind of gryphon
(eagle head, eagle wings, lion body)
can kick a cold dragon of equal size any day.

OK, I voted as a sissy girlie and went with the unicorn. Theres just something about them....they're so cute...
Also, the myths about them are very interesting, especially relating to the powers and properties of their horns.

Okay, I voted Other.
Because I really, really like Kobolds.
I don't know why, maybe it's because if there is such a thing as a whipping boy in D&D it's the kobolds. I just like the little draconic guys.
They may be evil, but at least they're orderly and hierarchical. Not a humanoid group that only bands together based on strength, no, these little bastards know that the only way to get ahead is to cooperate.
Gotta love that.
