To answer your question...no, we do not allow site advertisement here. However, we do allow you to put a link to your site in your signature and there is a space for you to put a link in your profile. Our thoughts on the matter are that if you are a contributing member of the community and take part in discussions a lot, then your link will be seen and clicked on far more than it would if you just did a one time ad ...which would disappear after 30 days.
This way, you get good exposure and we keep the site free of spam.

In addition to what Ari said, try clicking on the Button that says "Promote or Bust" in the right hand column of the forum home. That will lead you to a huge list of places to promote your website for free.
