Actually my new site, [URL removed] has been up and running for almost a month now. It has Star Trek and non-Star Trek related forums such as other sci-fi/fantasy, the bar, miscellaneous, computers, games, technology, etc.

Sorry, but we do not allow self-promotion here on the boards. Having the link in your signature is just fine, but we don't allow posts dedicated entirely to promos.

It just occurred to me that the description of the board topic could be a little confusing, so I thought I should explain.
It does says, "Discussion about...promoting your...website".
Rather than meaning that this is the place to promote your site, it means that this is the place to come to talk about promotion - how do I list myself with search engines, how can I affect my ranking, what are the best methods of promotion, what is the best way to use Meta Tags to help my rankings, etc.
I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
