I just noticed that the times recorded for my posts are not when I thought they were. That will be because I'm about 5-8 hours ahead of US time. Is anyone else here not from the states. I hate thinking you all get to talk to each other when I'm asleep *sniff*. I'm all alone....

Hmmm.... where are you in the UK, if you don't mind my asking?
I'm in CST (Central Standard Time) in the US. I knew a girl in Glasgow, and she was 6 hours ahead of me. I know there are a few of us here in CST, and a few in EST (Eastern Standard Time) which is 1 hour ahead of me.
It is very likely that you miss us sometimes, but it shouldn't be a huge problem. Would you like to try and set up a time for everyone to meet?
It actually isn't often that there are more than 3-4 of us on at a time, despite having over 100 registered members. I am thrilled that our little community is growing, and seems to be filling with good people.
Of course, with Ari as our forum "watchdog"
, it helps keep out the a$$hats.

I'm in Eastern Standard Time here in the US. And, I'm usually on at about the same time you are, NC. I see you quite a bit. *grins* Of course, that's because I'm bopping around here at 7AM, my time.

something it took me a while to notice too .. in posts beside the name on the left column, there is a little lightbulb icon. if it is lit up then that person is logged into the board . or has been in the last 15 or 30 minutes or something .. there is a list at the bottom of some of the main window that shows all the users that are logged in and choose to be listed.
like ari one of the times I'm on often is between 6AM and 8AM EST. i'm just not usually as a prolific poster as she is.

Sorry Noonchild, Microsoft has bought "time" and is not allowing any competitors.
We could post a zombie here at night but they always get stuck in one of the corners.

Working on it!
*Ari grins and goes back to trying to fit one of her zombies with a set of little, springy bumper type thingies which will supposedly make the zombies rebound out of the corners. After a few tries, though, she finds that her devices just slow the zombies down, so now they are still in the corners, but sort of bobble against the walls.*
din!!! You're more mechanically inclined. Can you make my zombies not get stuck? *smiles and bats her eyes prettily*

If we simply make the forums round there will be no corners and the zombies will just slide along the perimeter

I think they need rollerblades too.
Rollerblading zombies. In a round room. With springy bumpers.

I'm actually on early in the morning over here! Annoyingly it is Saturday and I just can't sleep since one of my kittens started attacking my feet
din you are a master of lateral thinking - don't get rid of the zombies, get rid of the corners!! Genius....of course we'll need curved furniture to put against the walls, oh oh and a big spiral slide down the middle like in the Faraway Tree! An'a pony, an'a tortoise, an'a bed for fluffy (flame retardent)...an'a disco ball for when I want to skate with the zombies!

The disco ball is a very good idea, it will go well with the zombies.

I CANT SLEEP I CANT SLEEP ICANT SLEEP! Its six in the morning and I have not slept yet! My boddy clock is really wrecked. Dunno what I'm gonna do if someone rings me with a temp job.
Watching DS9 repeats on Sci-fi channel. Saw the beginning of film APEX too, but soon realised I'd already seen it before. Way too many bad films that I find myself watching more than once....way too many.

You should not feel bad. While I am PST, I can only access a computer durring 3rd shift, from 2200 to 0530 pst. I am actually functioning on a -6 hours from PST, so I am effectively an afterwork user from Burmeda. This lets me contact some central europeans and a few in Japan.
