Does anyone else remember the TV series from Australia called "The girl from tomorrow".
Basically a girl from the future turns up in this Australian town and befriends some teens her own age to help prevent the apocalyptic disaster which has left her future world with a dangerous scarcity of water.
She has a special kind of head band which she can use to focus her telepathic powers (quite common in her time) but of course evil capitalist people from 20th century keep trying to steal it from her etc.
It was quite typical of Australian stories with a big ecological slant and their love of cyberpunk clothing.
There was a second series where they go to the future which she came from, called "Tomorrow's End". I loved both these series as things didn't always end all happy, another children's show with a dark edge.

I'm not familiar with that show, but it sounds interesting! I may have to see if I can find it on DVD somewhere.

Just remember I was a kid when I watched it last and it might be rubbish to adult eyes.

Hehe! True. Sort of like the Dukes of Hazard was for me. I loved that show when I was a kid but, now, I look back on it and think, "That was one bad show."

Oh, I watched that Australian show! She use to travel through time in a huge, crystal maze style crystal, and an evil bald guy was always after her!!! I loved that show!!! I haven't seen it for years though, I would love to see it again!
