Hello.

QUOTE
"The Cyberpunk Educator is a documentary study of mainstream cyberpunk films of the 1980's- with a heavy focus on their literary, political, and cultural content.
Holden's film uses the structure of literary theorist Northrop Frye, and the cultural critiques of renowned anthropologist Michel Foucault to describe the common, repeating stories in Western culture, and their application to the political process. Though it's an academic film, its also film about robots with guns, and so it should be fun to watch."
The bittorrent file is now available for download at URL REMOVED (Im sure those really interested can search for it on the Web)
The Canadian premier is this week.

Hi Janos,
If you are gonna visit here again I say WELCOME!
Sorry that I had to remove the URL but the SPAMMERS message on the front page of this site clearly states this is our policy (on first time posters anyway).
If you become a long term member we become more lenient with what we allow.

Sure, no problem, it's a reasonable policy, otherwise you'd be deluged with adverts.
I'll be checking in from time to time, and if something about cultural anthropology comes up I'll post about 20 times a day
The main reason I posted here though- was to 'advertise' the film- keeping in mind that it's free- to the scifi community. Basically, I'm just trying to share this with people interested in scifi, since it's a work about scifi and culture they may find interesting.
But np, I can understand removing the link. It's all good.

Yeah, spam is a tricky area, especially when we get newbies posting about relevant sci-fi stuff. I left the post in so peeps knew what subject you were talking about and could get info themselves if they were interested. Thanks for understanding. I hope you keep on posting, we like intresting new blood.
