Runt and I went to see Team America: World Police this afternoon and it was pretty much what I expected. It was crude and completely un-PC...which is why I liked it.
Now, if you've ever watched South Park, you'll know what to expect of this film. It's vulgar. There's a lot of cursing. There's a lot of gratuitous violence and general grossness. There's also marionette sex. (I kid you not). But, all in all, it was a fun movie. Parker and Stone lampooned everyone pretty equally, I thought. Both conservatives and liberals were on the receiving end of their jokes and, of course, Team America was made out to be the biggest bunch of violent, egotistical, clueless yutzes ever to exist.
It was a fun film if you aren't easily offended.
Hehe! If nothing else, you need to see it just for some of the props used. My personal favorites are scenes that are supposed to take place in the ocean but are actually filmed in an aquarium (the guppies and mollies give it away) and the scene where two of the team are being threatened by wild, man-eating panthers (two black cats who are very, very interested in the tuna-stuffed puppets.)

No comments on the Team America review? I've been trying to figure out if I should see this or not, but I haven't heard enough yet....anyone else think it's worth/not worth seeing?

For what it's worth, everything that I've read seems to indicate that it's one of those films that you either love or hate...there's no in between. Opinions at the other forums where I lurk are either: "It was a piece of gross trash that no one should ever see" or "It was hilarious."
Personally, I think that if you like South Park, you'll most likely enjoy Team America. Most of the negative responses I've seen also indicate that the person didn't like South Park, either.

I grew up with the marionette shows so a parody will be great fun. I'll probably wait till it comes out on DVD cos I hate going to the theater.
