Saw a very cheesey program about specific UFO's called RODS, but it intrigued me.  There is loads of UFO footage but they are all so varied that it is hard to believe they are all aliens, however Rod's have been caught on camera (moving so fast the naked eye is unaware) many times in many diff areas, looking so like each other and so un-UFO like that fakes can all but be ruled out.  Basically they look like thin rods with fins or flights down its length.  Some of the footage is really clear, and they look scarily engineered rather than being possible natural phenomena.  Anyone know anything on these??

This is the first I've heard of RODS.  The guys over at http://www.scifi-talk.com/ might know.  (Nice folks.)

Is this a new angle on the UFO phenomena or has it been around?

Thanks Brad you are so wise.  Went to these guys and they gave me a link to a sight contributed to by the main RODS guy.  He noticed more rods recently over Bhagdad on night vision, and other people saw the same through Fox news.  Makes me think they could well be military and not  ALIENS.
