Not sure if anyone else has seen Van Helsing yet but I saw it last night with my son and thought I'd comment, without any spoilers.
I thought it was worth the money. It's chock full of action and is clearly action/horror rather than scary. The computer graphics are good, although I suspect that in less than five years we'll be looking back at them as being a touch quaint. What I mean is that the monsters done in CGI are pretty cool but they do not truly look real. And there is a LOT of CGI, which gives it somewhat of a graphic novel feel.
The acting was pretty good, I thought. Hugh Jackman does a good job and the lead actress is also good. Their are three vampire females, brides of Dracula, who look and act wonderfully. I didn't, however, care that much for the Dracula character himself.
I will let you know, too, that they take a lot of liberties with the story of Dracula and Van Helsing, most of which I didn't mind. There are a couple of nice twists. But if you're a purist it might bother you a bit.
All in all, I'd recommend it for whiling away an afternoon.

From the clips it does have a graphic novel look to it. I really don't mind them building on the world of Dracula as long as they are not claiming to be making a movie of Stoker's novel.

Runt and I went to see it and really enjoyed it. I agree that it had a graphic novel feel to it. I especially liked the fact that they filmed the first few minutes in black and white, harkening back to the old monster movies that inspired Van Helsing. Lots of action, lots of monsters. All in all, worth the money paid.
Oh! Here's something I didn't realize until another person pointed it out to me: the guy who plays the friar sidekick is the same actor who played Eomir in LotR.
