Can't say I'm familiar with that particular game, but one that I've found useful as a time-travel style game has been Rifts.
I'll be on the lookout for Irithanama, though. Also, I'm no where near Jersey...

Welcome to the forums.
Come on in and make yourself at home.
I'm afraid that I've never tried this game and I haven't heard of it before. What is the system like?

Ummm. 11 editions? With print runs of what, 10? Distributed by bicycle? I checked the company web site. It makes me confused. Check the site yourself http://www.manicfiddler.com/
I mean the only game that comes close to that edition count is D&D (oD&D, aD&D, eD&D, bD&D, etc).
Eleven retail printings are possible, but the only games I know that managed that are T&T, Runequest, Hero/champions, and D&D. (I could be wrong on these.) Eleven non retail printings are called playtest copies.
I have worked in the industry and listened on lots of boards. I ask around today/ tonight. Nobody, outside of our original poster, has heard of this game at all. (Troll alert).
To those that do not know: many little companies inflate their edition/ print run numbers in an attempt to seem like they are important or have been around a while. It is an annoying amature marketing trick played by many.
If the game has 11 editions, you would think some suppliment would of been generated. (Usually you get one print run a year, and if they confusing the two, then the game should have been around about 11 years). I mean, even Element Master, with 3 editions over 10 years, had two suppliment products. Talislantia and Jorune, two small run games (both of which have lasted over 10 years), have suppliments. EPT has suppliments, and they are even currently in print.
The company is not a GAMA or GPA members. That means they are not using any distributors at all. Nor are they boothing at Origins or going to the GAMA trade show (which any game company must do if they actually want to sell a notable amount of units). A small game company really should be a GPA member. The benefits far outweigh the costs.
I would like to hear a bit of history on the company and learn a bit more of this new game. Is there a demo pdf or short rules on this one?

PS: Okay, I am a cynic. I don't mean to dis upon the original poster. (Please feel free to post more.) Things just do not add up about the game as currently presented.

Well you are probably right Moonhunter. If so, I hope the publisher takes the time to add the site to some of the genre and rpg directories listed down at the bottom of the forums. That will gain them more traffic in the long run.

Where am I? That depends; while at work, I'm in dowtown Kansas City, Missouri. At home, I'm in a little town called Eudora, Kansas (approx 6 miles east of Lawrence off Hwy 10.)
Checked the web-site...
their description of the game definitely sounds like Rifts. Not surprising, I didn't see it in the GateKeeper in Topeka, KS, but they said they'll see about getting a shipment of it.

hmmm...I've played Rifts, too...at least how i've played rifts it's mostly a futuristic game. this one jumps around more. I'll have to ask Jim where he got the book. it was my understanding that it was just word of mouth for a long time. it's similar in design to both palladium stuff and d&d (pre d20), though i'd be hard pressed to say which one its closest to.
one of our group said he loved this one because he was a big dr. who fan, if that means anything to anyone.

Dr. Who...now, that's one I haven't come across for some time. The D&D Group I was with in High School would pause in our game to watch the show...
As for my experience with Rifts, so far one was a definite time-travel in that my character was an AH-64D pilot in, roughly, current-day USA when a Rift opened up in the sky somewhere over the Southwest US...his chopper was drawn-in and he ended up a couple-three hundred years in the future. Had to upgrade the weaponry and armor to be effective, but the Apache-D had some tricks up its sleeves that the power-armor jocks weren't quite ready for.
Two of my D&D characters have also been thru Rifts.
Had a lot of fun with those.

my usual character was the cyberknight. the gm always insisted on playing a glitterboy (he kept an npc as 'his' character)...he was the type of player that always had to have the strongest or best. I was the type who like playing characters with some small penalties in d&d (i'll take classic d&d over rifts any day). needless to say, as far as that gm was concerned, things had a tendency to get boring pretty fast. that's why i tried to find another group when i got to college doing something different than powermad rifts. even did a little vampire with them.

Sounds like the GM's in the group in Topeka (met them thru the SCA)...
Very powermad, with character's bordering on demi-gods.
Which is why, I believe, my D&D character Callon infuriated them so much...He was difficult to beat between his two swords (Scimitars of Speed, +3, scentient), a vampiric ring of regeneration...and a fairly unique fighting style (he travelled for a while with a ninja and learned enough to refine his own abilities).
But he is by no means all powerful, with natural mega-armor, ability scores and hit-points that were off the scale.
