Hi there!
I'm running my universities Medieval Society this year, and on the 13th of December we have our Christmas Masked Ball (ie... drunken party in costumes) and I'm lookin gfor suggestions for games to play. So far we have....
Bear Baiting!!
You have to throw hoops at a huge teddy bear, whilst holding in your left hand a beer glass brimming to the top. If you spill any beer at all, you are disqualified, and the first person to successfully get a hoop on the bear wins.
Archery!!!
With childrens toy plastic bows and arrows - you know the kind, with suckers on the end. again with prizes.
Yard of Ale!!
The olde English tradition....
And I'm doing tarot reading and other similar things.
We really need some more events to give prizes at though, so if you have any ideas, or even ideas of appropriate prizes then post them, and I'll love you forever!!!!

Hmmm... I don't know any myself, but I have found a couple of webpages that list some. Now, I'm not sure if all the games listed are 100% traditional (meaning they'll need to be modified to fit your needs) or if they are fun variants on old games. I haven't read through all the rules and descriptions. However, you may find something here that will tickle your fancy.

You can also look into the Society for Creative Anachronism. We're an international organization, but I'm not the best contact for that. sca.org could be a good resource.
