I just watched the very first ever DS9 episode after having splashed out and bought the DVD set of the first series.
Aaaah ...
No ad breaks.
Digital surround sound.
Beautiful quality.
No annoying announcer squawking into the end titles ...
It was worth it!

glad you like DS9 .. it has been a long time since i've seen it myself but it was one of my favorites.

I'm jealous!
The DS9 series is on my list after I get done collecting TOS. I enjoyed the DS9 series very much. The first season was a bit shaky starting off but the series steadily improved over the years.
I'm watching a couple of different TV shows on DVD now and I have to agree with you Lucius, it is so nice having no commercials, announcers etc.
I'm jealous!
