Here is a directory that impresses me the more I use it and the more I learn how to use it.
Gimpsy is a general directory that lists active sites: ie. sites that are active and do things, like sites that let you Buy, Sell, Find, Play, etc.
So you search Gimpsy using verbs, like: play games role playing and buy mailbox.
It takes some getting used to as a searcher but once you do get used to it you see it omits a lot of the garbage that would come up if those searches were done on a conventional directory. It's kinda fun.
If you have an active site that would qualify for inclusion It is worth adding it.
