Has anyone else seen Neon Genesis Evangelion? I watched it awhile back, (thinking of borrowing the tapes again here on leave), and was wondering what everyone thought.
It left me boggled at the end.

Sorry, Haru. I haven't seen this one, but it seems to be quite popular. Anyone else out there seen it?

Ok, well I borrowed the tapes from a friend again this week. Watched all 15-16 hours in 3 days (13 tapes each 1 hour, and two movies, about an hour apiece). If you value your sanity, you'll split them up a bit more than I did.
Watching a second time pieced it together a bit better for me. Though I wasn't really lost on the first viewing, just not... open-minded enough, I guess. The regular series ends a bit more rationally, and the final movie, "End of Evangelion", is the one which leaves you shaking your head.
I've heard that the "Serial Experiments:Lain" is a good series and a bit of a mind-bender. Is this true? Does anyone recommend it?
