Enterprise Improving? - by Brad on 08:54 23 Nov 2004
Is it just me or has Star Trek Enterprise improved this season over the previous ones?  I think it has.  First there was the Eugenics 3 episode story with an excellent performance by Brent Spiner (sp?) who played "Data" in the STNG.  Not only was the story well done and well acted but there was also the subtle return to the Heroic and the loneliness of command themes from TOS.

Last week started a story based on Vulcan. I have to say it was pretty good and I am looking forward to this weeks episode.

I think this was one of the areas where ENT missed the boat (by a mile) in earlier seasons: meeting and exploring the worlds that would someday make up the Federation.  Instead they went off time traveling and playing with aliens that nobody had ever heard of.

Anyway I think the series is getting on track.  Hopefully it is not too late.  Watching ENT now is more of something to look forward too than a chore.

Is anyone else having this same reaction to this season?

I think I agree, Star Trek Enterprise has improved this season.  I've watched a couple of episodes now and have found myself getting caught up in them.  The characters seem more at ease with each other and the set, and the stories themselves seem to be better written.
