Oh, heck yeah! It's been quite the hot topic over the the GU Comics forums as of late. From what everyone is saying, the darned thing is so creepy that you don't want to sleep with the lights out after you play it.
....almost makes me wish that I actually liked 1st person shooters.

Yeah I can see how 1st person shooters would get old. The only one I have is Medal of Honor: Frontline which is World War II. It's facinating although I have not played it enough to get off the beach (D-Day landings are the first senario). If I had ever been in real combat I don't think I'd ever want to play a shooter.

We went to the computer store this evening to pick up some RAM and they had Doom 3 running on one of the demo machines. *drools* Okay, I don't even like 1st person shooters, but I have to admit that it was absolutely beautiful to look at. The graphics are fantastic. Dark and moody with excellent lighting effects. Hehe! Of course, I sat down and messed with it for a bit. *sighs* It ran like butta, I tell ya. Of course, that was because it was on a top-notch gaming machine. I doubt it would be as pretty on my machine but still...
