Not seen D Darko, but my mate says it is based on The Last Temptation of Christ!!
Anyone seen it? Can it be appreciated if one hasn't seen the polanski film? (i have but was just wondering).

I saw Donnie Darko and thought it was an incredible weird movie but pretty interesting. I haven't seen the last temptation of christ but I understood the basics of Darko. I can't say I liked it so much as I kept watching because it was just plain strange.
