Dead Zone - New Season (Jan.5th) - by dead2thacore on 17:51 18 Dec 2002
Hey fellow scifi fans. Anyone else a huge Dead Zone fan? I was totally addicted to the first season. I think I've seen most of the episodes. I think my favorite has to be the one where Johnny is in some sort of parallel world where he is married to Sarah, his kids are running around and he no longer needs the cane to walk. That was such a bittersweet episode. I'm trying to catch the episodes I've missed on USA as they rerun em. Man, I can't wait till Jan. 5th when the new season begins. Oh hey and watch a cool new preview for season 2 at : http://www.usanetwork.com/series/thedeadzone/ The site is done well, updated frequently so I say check back a lot. Thanks!

While not a huge fan, I really like the show. I think it is one of the best, underrated, "show you should be watching but arn't" shows on television. I think, if they can maintain the tone of the first season, this one will go on, and on, and on... like Dark Shadows, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and other shows with long term fen followings.
My favorite episode is the Indian cave, where one seer contacts another seer, through time, to explain the impact of a meoter and save lives. This sounds strange, but makes total sense in context of the show and the story.

I don't get cable so I cannot comment on the show. However, I respect Moonhunters opinion on these things.
I am seeing interest. I have been wondering why there has been an increase in the number of searches for Nicole deBoer over the last few weeks on Planet Doom Portal. This explains it since she is in the cast. I had been wondering why and this clears up the mystery.
The show is spinning off some interest.
