I'm not sure that this is the correct place to put this. I mean, Dead Like Me isn't really horror, fantasy or sci-fi, but it could fit here...maybe....At any rate, this seemed like the best fit.
If you have not had a chance to see this wonderfully witty dark comedy, I suggest you do so at once! It is the tale of Georgia "George" Lass and her induction into the afterlife as a grim reaper. It is her job to ease a soul's exit from this world and then usher them into...well...whatever exists for that soul afterwards. The problem is, neither George nor any of the other reapers know what exists on the other side since they are stuck here in this world until they learn the lessons they failed to pick up in life.
The show really is funny, despite the fact that my description doesn't exactly make you believe that you could fall over with hoots of laughter. They're showing reruns of the first season on Showtime right now. The second season should start soon.
