LOL! Yeah, its a good renter. I'm not sure how well this movie will age - for folks my age *cough*forties*cough* it has a lot of meaning. I'm not sure how well it will translate to younger folks but it is worth renting.

The first time I saw Dark Star I was drunk and the next day I suspected I had dreamed it all. It was just TOO weird and surreal. Years later I found out it was a real movie and was just as weird when I watched it sober. I wouldn't call it a great movie but it was worth a rent.

Thanks peeps. I normally agree with my dads choice in film (we used to get up at night to watch godzilla, or 1950's stuff, like the Blob or Plan 9 from outer space) but info from Sci-fi fanatics is always good.
