I suppose at least some of you have heard that Christopher Reeve has died at age 52. Apparently from complications related to an infection from a bedsore. Although I was never enamored of the Superman movies, I did think Reeve was a decent actor and he certainly made a fight of his life since his paralysis. I saw him in some episodes of Smallville and he did good work. I was sorry to hear of his death.

Same here. I admire the way he fought on after his accident, not only for himself but for others.

I had a huge crush on him when I was little, and I still think Superman II is a classic film. It is an amazing tribute that he fought back so strongly from a "hangman's break" which usually causes instant death. I will remember those sparkling blue eyes with fondness.
