My mom is a huge Star Trek fan and it kindda was placed upon me. The Orginal was great and I really like Generation. I liked most of the series that were out. My favorite Star Trek charictor has to be Picard. But its hard to really choice since I like Spock and Worf. I like most of the charictors. I wonder whats is your favorite charictors from either one series or all the series or just a few?

beyond all the star roles and high profile guys .. i always was rather fond of Ensign Kim from voyager. I found the actor did a fine job, the character was likable and personable .. he was the 'regular guy' i always enjoyed episodes that focused on him a little more.

My all time favorite series is still TOS.
Characters:
TOS
Kirk - my all time fav.
Spock - alien and cool
Scotty - cause he was reliable.
DS9
Major Kira
Odo
Ezri Dax
It is a little to early to tell with Enterprise. I like all the cast so far. Even Trip Tucker is growing on me.
T'Pol - on the list
Archer - is pretty good.

Now, Tucker is my favorite from Enterprise. I can't quite put my finger on why, just yet. I think it might be because his character amuses me. The doctor is another that I'm rather fond of (though I don't recall his name.)
From TOS, I always liked Sulu and Chekov the best. Sulu was just so likable...always smiling, the optimist of the group. I just felt sorry for poor Chekov. I mean, come on. If something bad was going to happen, it usually happened to him. "Oh, look, a panel blew up and electricuted Chekov! Oh, look, Chekov is getting a Seti eel put in his ear!" As an aside, the actor who played Chekov (Walter Koening, I think?) went on to do a fantasic job of playing the hard-nosed, Psycorp head in B5.
I never watched DS9 enough to form any opinions and it's pretty much the same for Voyager.
I don't think I really like anybody from ST:TNG....except maybe Q.

Good point Ari, I like the doctor in ENT a lot too. One of the best episodes was the Doctor's diary entry thing.
I gave up on Voyager and my watching of TNG was spotty, but I am enjoying ENT.

Kirk and Spock from the original series sort of via for first place in my list of favorite characters. I liked Sulu a lot.
In The Next Generation it was Whorf and Data.
In Voyager I didn't really have a favorite.
In DS9 I liked O'Brien a lot. a solid fellow.
Haven't watched enough of the new enterprise to have a favorite yet.
