C.S. Lewis Space Trilogy - by VampirePrincess on 14:09 15 Sep 2002
These books (3) are one of the best book trilogies I read ina long time. Out of the Silent Planet was the best. I just love Lewis's work. He is a great man.

I wonder has anyone read them?

I have those books, VampirePrincess, but to my shame I haven't read them yet.  I never learned of them when I was young so I missed out on the prime time for reading them.

Wow, I really only know about the Narnia books.  What aspects really caught your attention?

You defently should read them. They are beutifully written.

What caught my attention was Lewis's name on the book. Actually I was looking for another auther and Lewis poped up in the sci-fi fantasy section and I picked it up and looked at it (Out of the Silent Planet) and when I saw the other two I bought them all. I first Out of the Silent Planet which was great. The other two I need to read again because I never had time to truely enjoy the book. But anyway I just thought it was interesting that Lewis wrote a science fiction books. I always loved Lewis. He was just a great writter.
