This is something I wrote a while ago. It was intended to be part of a larger short sotry, but writing the other parts never really gelled, and the more I worked on this part the more I thought it could stand alone.
In a way it feels like a scene from a montage. fade in then fade out. It is from the part of the big story arc where these two characters are working as border patrol and mercenaries for a few years.
Like the Hara story, but more because it was supposed to be part of something more, there is little explaination or character description, but I hope there is enough information in what is presented for everybody to figure out generally what is going on. If not you can ask here and I can outline the story that is not in the . story and explain why the two protags did what they done
