I can't let me fellow forum members go without taking a look at this artist's gallery of paintings.
Most of the images here are fantasy based, however there are a few natural images, too. While the artwork itself is wonderfully whimsical, at times, what makes this gallery great are the artists comments about each picture. Some of them had me rolling with laughter. Here's a quote from one:

Amusingly enough--and hey, since I've got all this extra space, I'll rant a bit--I originally posted this painting in a gallery with a snide comment about makhdragons being smart enough to train, unlike normal dragons, which are homicidal, territorial, and have the brains of fire-breathing avacadoes. Hooo-boy. You'd think I'd shot the Pope. I got so much hate mail and outraged comments over that that I was starting to wonder if they'd posted the URL at the Home For Those With No Grip On Reality. "I'm a dragon, and I'm smart!" Uh...yeah. Anyway, it blew over eventually, since most people do have some fingernail hold on reality, but it was interesting. What did I learn from this? Not a #### thing, actually, it's still chalked up in my "Hmmmmmm" file. |
