I couldn't wait to get AOL 8.0 loaded. I was hoping it would have a browser that wouldn't screw up the pages I wanted to look at. It was a pain to log on then switch to IE, just so I didn't have to deal with the javascript problems that plagued 7.0 and older.
Not only does 8.0 deal with java as well as IE, but websites look better, and load faster. Good news for webmasters who get visited by the millions of AOL users!
But, um, IE is still better. It loads faster than AOL, and websites look better still.

I have heard AOL 8 is good. I hope version 9 will be based on the Mozilla/Gecko rendering engine - that would be great.
AOL has come up with a new e-mail client to challenge M$ and Outlook Express. It looks real interesting.
